At Kentucky Farmers Bank, the basis of each customer relationship, many of which span generations, is trust. You have chosen to do business with Kentucky Farmers Bank, and we are obligated to honor that relationship with great care, beginning with the information you have chosen to share with us. We believe that your privacy should not be compromised. At the same time, we want to offer you the array of financial products and services you need to accomplish your financial goals. We believe we can do both through the privacy policy below.

Recognition of a Customer's Expectation of Privacy. We recognize that you have a right to expect your personal financial information to remain private and secure. We maintain standards and procedures designed to protect this information.

Our Collection, Use and Retention of Customer Information. We will collect, retain and use information about individual customers only where we believe it would be useful to administer business and to provide products, services and other opportunities to customers.

Maintenance of Accurate Information. We continually strive to maintain complete and accurate information about you and your accounts. We will respond to requests to correct inaccurate information in a timely manner.

Limitations on Employee Access to Information. We will limit employee access to personally identifiable information to those with a business reason for knowing such information. We will also educate our employees so that they will understand the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy. We will also take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee privacy responsibilities.

Protection of Information via Established Security Procedures. We will maintain appropriate security standards and procedures regarding unauthorized access to customer information.

Restrictions on the Disclosure of Account Information. We will not reveal specific information about customer accounts or other personally identifiable data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use except for the exchange of information with reputable information reporting agencies to maximize the accuracy and security of such information or in the performance of bona fide corporate due diligence, unless 1) the information is provided to help complete a customer-initiated transaction; 2) the customer requests it; 3) the disclosure is required by or allowed by law (e.g. subpoena, investigation of fraudulent activity, etc.); or 4) the customer has been informed about the possibility of disclosure for marketing or similar purposes through a prior communication and is given the opportunity to decline.

Maintaining Customer Privacy in Business Relationships With Third Parties. When we conduct business with third parties, we require our vendors and suppliers to maintain similar standards of conduct regarding the privacy of personally identifiable customer information provided to them.

Internet and Electronic Privacy. With the rapid growth in electronic commerce conducted over the Internet, Kentucky Farmers Bank deploys on-line systems to facilitate the convenient delivery of services and it is our policy to safeguard our customer's sensitive information. We consider the privacy of our customers' personal information an important element of their trust and confidence in the bank.

Customer E-mail Privacy. Kentucky Farmers Bank's Web site does not require you to disclose any personal identifying information. If, however, you choose to contact us via e-mail, please keep in mind that your e-mail address, and any other information your e-mail header shows about you, such as your name or organization, will be revealed to us in the e-mail.
